Bright Star Bilingual Early Learning has proudly served Alameda and Bay Area families for over a decade. Families choose us because they are looking for more than childcare — they are looking for a small, nurturing environment where their child receives personalized attention and builds meaningful relationships.
Founded by an educator with a Master's degree in Art, Bright Star began with a vision for her Alameda community — a daycare that combined the warmth of home with the rigor of intentional early education.
She founded Bright Star in 2013 on a simple belief: that every child deserves to be truly seen. She brings her background in the arts and over a decade of teaching in China into every aspect of the curriculum — from creative projects to thoughtfully designed spaces that inspire curiosity and calm.
At Bright Star, learning happens through relationships. Small group sizes mean each little one receives the personalized attention they need to develop confidence, emotional resilience, and love of discovery. The immersive Mandarin-English environment opens young, developing minds to new sounds, words, and ways of thinking — naturally and joyfully.
